Training & Accreditation

I am a fully accredited member of the FTAI and ICP, holding an MSc in Systemic Psychotherapy.

I’ve also trained in EMDR, Polyvagal-Informed Therapy, NLP life coaching, trauma and GSRD.

Approach

Systemic psychotherapy recognises that we live our lives in relationship to one another and that often our thoughts, behaviours and difficulties can be better understood within the context of these relationships.  I respect and acknowledge every person’s perspective and unique life experience.  I create a safe, non-judgemental space where we collaboratively work together to make sense of whatever difficulties are present for you while moving towards a greater understanding of yourself and others.

I integrate Narrative Therapy, which sees you as the expert of your own life. Together, we explore the stories that shape your identity and relationships, uncovering strengths and values while rethinking unhelpful beliefs. This process helps you create meaningful change and deeper connections with yourself and others.

I also use EMDR therapy to support healing from trauma and distressing experiences. This evidence-based approach helps process difficult memories, reducing their emotional impact and creating space for growth and resilience.

Experience & Areas of Interest

Individuals: I support people of all ages with challenges like anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, adverse childhood experiences, grief, relationship difficulties, or a desire for deeper self-understanding. I also have extensive experience working with those in the arts and creative industries.

Couples: As a GSRD-affirming therapist, I work with couples of all orientations and relationship styles, helping with communication, conflict, infidelity, intimacy and future planning. I provide a safe, inclusive space to explore unique dynamics, rebuild trust and strengthen connection.

Families: Using a systemic approach, I help family members to improve communication, resolve conflicts and build healthier relationships.

Parents: I assist parents in navigating family dynamics, enhancing communication and developing effective, compassionate approaches to parenting.
