Training & Accreditation
Elisa is a fully qualified psychologist from Argentina. She holds a BA (Hons.) in Psychology and is currently completing an MA in CBT in the Irish College of Humanities & Applied Sciences (ICHAS). She adheres to the Professional Code of Ethics as upheld by the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) as Graduate Member (M.Ps.S.I.) and works under continuous supervision.
As part of her commitment with her practice and continuing professional development, she regularly attends to seminars and training courses and keeps up to date with current developments in the psychological field. She has completed her Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training as part of her volunteer work.
Approach
As Elisa sees her work with her clients as a collaborative team effort, she offers a confidential, non-judgmental and supportive setting with a collaborative treatment tailored to her clients’ needs. She considers that every person is unique and in that uniqueness, they hold the capacity to improve their quality of life. She believes her role within the therapeutical team is to provide tools and guidance to her clients while they search for their inner strength.
Experience & Areas of Interest
Elisa works with adults experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, panic and panic attacks, self-esteem issues, Body Dismorphic Disorder (BDD), self-Harm and suicide ideation among other troubling issues such as those caused by immigration. She provides therapy in two languages: English and Spanish.
