Erengul has graduated from IICP College in Dublin with a BA Level 8 (Hons) Degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. She is an accredited member of Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP, www.iacp.ie) and works under the Ethical Guidelines of the IACP. Erengul is currently studying Masters in Trinity College in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and also in UCD in Family Therapy. She also holds Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and BSc in Chemistry Degrees along with a Diploma in Nursing and also Life Coaching. Erengul has a strong background in business, worked as co-founder and Commercial Director for 17 years prior to her role as a counsellor and psychotherapist. She also worked as a nurse for five years.
Approach
Erengul is trained in integrative counselling and psychotherapy. Integrative counselling and psychotherapy is an established and respected movement that is based on merging the best of differing therapy orientations so that more comprehensive and effective therapy models can be developed. Her work is Evidence-Based, which is backed by scientific evidence where studies have been conducted and extensive research has been documented on a particular treatment, and it has proven to be successful. Her goal is to use safe and effective treatments that are likely to achieve results and lessen the use of unproven, potentially unsafe treatments. Every client is unique therefore requires a unique approach tailored specifically for them. Her approach is to treat every individual as a whole being with their heart, mind, body and spirit working harmoniously. Erengul works in a multi-cultural framework, provides therapy in both English and Turkish.

Erengul works with adults living with difficulties including self-esteem and self-worth issues, relationship problems, depression, anxiety disorders, developmental and attachment issues, addiction and concerned significant others, grief, loss and bereavement, suicidal ideation, intimate partner violence (domestic violence), Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), gender-based violence, trauma, existential issues, meaninglessness, stress related issues, future planning and setting goals.
